ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — Disneyland Resort in Anaheim said Tiana’s Bayou Adventure was shut down for the rest of Sunday after a 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle and slid down the attraction’s final drop.

A Disneyland spokesperson said cast members stopped the ride after the boy left the vehicle. The child was taken to a local hospital for a precautionary evaluation and later released.

Disneyland said the attraction remained closed for the rest of the day and later reopened after an inspection by the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health.

Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News that inspectors did not find any operational issues.
