LAGUNA BEACH, Calif., June 27 (Laguna Beach Daily) — Laguna Beach’s annual July 4 fireworks show is expected to use about 300 pounds of explosive over a 20-minute display at Heisler Park, according to a regional water board filing for the city’s fireworks program.

The City of Laguna Beach says the show will originate from Monument Point at Heisler Park and begin at about 9 p.m. on July 4.

The California State Water Resources Control Board’s San Diego region issued the filing. It names Mark McAvoy, the city’s director of public works and utilities, as the city contact.

The city’s fire-station directory lists Fire Station 1 at 501 Forest Avenue. A separate address in the water board filing lists the city mailing address as 505 Forest Avenue.
